Road project to link Kampung Pendam, Kampung Ipai in Limbang
A five-tonne piling rig and other heavy machinery are being deployed to the road construction project linking Kampung Pendam to Kampung Ipai in the Limbang division.
Culvert works, to ease flooding in the area, will begin after an access road is established. The project will see the upgrade of an existing 7km road that will connect to a new 6km road. The R3 standard roads will connect to a reinforced concrete bridge that is also under construction.
The infrastructure projects, set to be completed next year, are implemented by the Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA), under RECODA.
