RECODA, through the Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA), participated as a strategic partner of the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) in the Seminar Pemerkasaan Ketua Masyarakat dan Ketua Kaum (KMKK) Dalam Penjagaan Alam Sekitar Ke Arah Pembangunan Mampan held in Lawas.

The seminar was officiated by YB Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah bin Ali Hasan, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Chairman of NRDA. During the programme, RECODA showcased key development initiatives through NRDA while highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

The programme also provided an opportunity to share updates on key development initiatives in Lawas, including the Northern Coastal Highway (NCH), which will enhance connectivity between northern Sarawak, Sabah and Brunei, while supporting socio-economic development across the region.
