RECODA today joined other state agencies in a public exhibition in Belaga, in the Kapit division, held in conjunction with the launch of the Belaga Waterfront.
Officiating the ceremony was Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, who was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing, chairman of the Upper Rajang Development Agency (URDA).
Abang Johari, who also officiated the ground breaking ceremony for the Belaga District Mosque earlier today, said his government is committed to continuing development in the central region of Sarawak.
URDA, an agency under RECODA, was recently alloted a further RM1.5 billion to develop the region.
