Representatives from RECODA held a briefing to analysts regarding the planned development and the opportunities in SCORE.
In conjunction with Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd’s  (Kenanga Investment) industrial visit to explore the progress of Samalaju projects, RECODA, as the coordinator of SCORE, was invited to share their outlook as well as opportunities in Samalaju.
The industrial visit included Bintulu Port, Press Metal and Cahya Mata Sarawak with regards to their major involvement in Samalaju projects as the bank analysts noticed that most of the projects on are almost on its completion period.
Representatives from the investment bank noted that they were interested to see the progress of this companies as they were also bringing other institutional clients such as Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), RHB-Islamic Asset Management Tabung Haji to update the progress of this companies as they see this companies as potential investment in their equity fund management.
Mr Dawend Jiwan, RECODA’s Head of Project unit and Mr Siten Siam, RECODA’s Head of Audit took the lead in explaining to the visitors on the current status of Samalaju as well as noting huge potential in the future with investors still eyeing a spot at the industrial park.
Present at the briefing included PND analyst Adora, RHB Islamic analyst Fatin Farhana, Kenanga Investment analyst Voon Yee Ping, RHB Islamic Fund Manager Farid Izmeer, Kenanga Investment institutional sales officers Nur Farraheeda and Edy Sukasma.
