HDA, Miri Land & Survey meet with land compensation claimants
The Highland Development Agency (HDA) today met with Long Silat land compensation claimants in Miri in a discussion jointly organised with the Miri Land & Survey Department.
In the discussion chaired by HDA Deputy Chairman and Mulu State Representative Dato Gerawat Gala, residents and community leaders from the settlement in the Upper Baram region were informed about the policies and issues related to their claims.
They were also briefed on the benefits of the ongoing 8km Long Silat road project, which will provide safe travel to the surrounding communities after its expected completion next year.
