LIMBANG: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan informed local residents here today that Kampung Limpaku Pinang along with nearby Kampung Bulantak will be connected via a new road project.
The Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA) chairman said the agency will implement the road project. NRDA is under RECODA. Awang Tengah added that connectivity in the area will be further improved with the proposed 86km Northern Coastal Highway, a project under RECODA.
Other infrastructure development projects to be implemented in the area included infrastructure upgrades for a mosque, a jetty and a school.
The government also today donated outboard motors to fishermen from 29 villages in the Limbang division.
