YB Senator Dato’ Sri Abdul Wahid Omar, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department officiated the TERAJU Outreach Programme held at Mukah Kingwood Resort on 2 May 2016.

The objective of the programme was to introduce entrepreneurs in Mukah and the surrounding area to the various government initiatives developed specifically to help them to improve their businesses. This is an ongoing effort by TERAJU to assist and develop entrepreneurs in Sarawak.

Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot, Chief Executive Officer of RECODA was invited to be one of the speakers and he used the opportunity to share some of the initiatives implemented by RECODA to get Bumiputra participation in SCORE.

Other speakers included Mr. Yussibnosh Balo, Barisan Nasional candidate for Tellian State constituency and Mr. Abdul Yakub Arbi, candidate for Balingian State constituency.
TERAJU also presented a paper on the Facilitation Fund, the Entrepreneur Development Fund, the TeraS Program, TeraS TERAJU Fund and Bumiputra Seed Fund (SUPERB). Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), TEKUN National and SME Corp made presentations on the funds and financing programmes they offer.
Mr Sidi anak Tuba, a recipient of 1the AZAM program also made a presentation as did Mr Akhmal Buanie, the winner of SUPERB 2014 and Mr. Sulaiman Sahari, Chairman of Sarawak Bumiputra Chamber (DUBS), Mukah Branch.
Also present during the event were YB Dato’ Sri Dr. Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah, Member of Parliament for Mukah constituency, YBhg. Dato’ Husni Salleh, Chief Executive Officer, TERAJU and other senior management from TERAJU.
