Site Visit Update: Collection, Processing & Packaging Centre (CPPC) in Spaoh, Betong
We are on-site at the “Preparation of Site and Infrastructure for the Food Basket Development in Spaoh, Betong” project, which upon completion will serve as a Collection, Processing & Packaging Centre (CPPC) for agriculture product. The project now stands at nearly 70% completion and is expect to be finished by early next year.
This project is a part of the Federal Government Food Basket initative and is in line with RECODA’s unwavering commitment to transforming rural Sarawak into an economic powerhouse through food-related socio-economic development projects.
RECODA is working on the establishment of another CPPC in Sungai Baji, Sarikei, aimed at empowering local farmers, boosting agricultural output, and enhancing food security in the SCORE region.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to project completion!
