RECODA was invited as a panel speaker at the Jom XCESS 2026 Sarawak Region programme organised by SME Bank in Kuching earlier today. The programme commenced with an opening keynote address by Chief Business Officer of SME Bank, Zabidi Abdullah, highlighting the importance of strengthening entrepreneurship, business resilience, and access to financing opportunities.

Representing RECODA, Director of Investment and Socio-Economic Development, Khairina Dawek, joined fellow panellists from SME Bank, Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), and Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) in a discussion centred on business expansion, investment readiness, and industry support mechanisms for local enterprises.

The programme brought together entrepreneurs, SMEs, start-ups, and industry players with financial institutions and development agencies through sharing sessions, networking engagements, and business advisory initiatives. Participants were also introduced to various financing opportunities, business support programmes, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening Sarawak’s SME ecosystem.

The engagement also provided an opportunity for RECODA to share its ongoing efforts in facilitating socio-economic development and investment growth across the SCORE region, while supporting greater collaboration towards Sarawak’s long-term economic development agenda.
