The fourth series of the Industry Continuous Professional Development (iCPD) programme was officially launched today in Sibu by YB Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, Deputy Minister for Talent Development, Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) Sarawak, Mr Hallman bin Sabri, Executive Director of Sarawak Skills.

This series of the iCPD is organised by MEITD in collaboration with MINTRED, RECODA, and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). The programme aims to enhance the efficiency of Sarawak’s workforce through upskilling, reskilling, and multiskilling, thereby improving competitiveness and employability while addressing industry skill set demands.

Also present during this launching were representatives from MINTRED, RECODA and MPC Sarawak Region.

The first three series’ have already been launched in Miri, Bintulu, and Lawas. The fifth and final series of the iCPD is set to launch in Kuching later this year.

Siri keempat Program Pembangunan Profesional Berterusan Industri (iCPD) telah dilancarkan secara rasmi hari ini di Sibu oleh YB Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, Timbalan Menteri Pendidikan, Inovasi dan Pembangunan Bakat (MEITD) Sarawak. Ucapan pembukaan disampaikan oleh Encik Hallman bin Sabri, Pengarah Eksekutif Sarawak Skills.

Siri iCPD kali ini dianjurkan oleh MEITD dengan kerjasama MINTRED, RECODA, dan Perbadanan Produktiviti Malaysia (MPC). Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecekapan tenaga kerja Sarawak melalui latihan kemahiran, penambahbaikan kemahiran, dan kemahiran pelbagai, dengan harapan dapat memperbaiki daya saing dan kebolehpasaran serta memenuhi keperluan kemahiran industri.

Turut hadir pada majlis pelancaran ini wakil dari MINTRED, RECODA dan MPC Wilayah Sarawak.

Siri pertama hingga ketiga telah dilancarkan di Miri, Bintulu dan Lawas. Siri kelima dan terakhir iCPD dijadualkan akan dilancarkan di Kuching pada akhir tahun ini.
