NRDA committed to infrastructure development, says chairman
LAWAS: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan spoke to residents here today on ongoing efforts by the Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA), under RECODA, to develop infrastructure to the benefit of local communities.
The NRDA chairman said the agency will implement projects such as the construction of a bridge in Kuala Lawas, school upgrades, and roads connecting villages such as Kampung Noor Islam – where he visited today – to the coastal highways.
The government also donated outboard motors to fishermen from five villages – Noor Islam Ulu, Noor Islam Laut, Masjid Dato, Haji Bayan, Baru Ulu and Pemukat.
