After Lawas’s COMMUNITY@SCORE event earlier this week, today, a total of 150 students from 36 primary schools and five secondary schools across the Limbang division received vital school necessities through RECODA’s B40 school assistance programme, aimed at reducing the burden on parents.

This collaborative initiative with the Sarawak State Education Department (JPNS) is part of RECODA’s COMMUNITY@SCORE initiative, providing assistance to students from Primary 1 to Form 5, coming from families with a household income of RM4,850.00 or below.

We want to extend a special thanks to Deputy Minister of Transport, YB Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, who is also the Limbang Member of Parliament, for bringing smiles to these students by personally delivering the items.

The ceremony was also attended by NRDA Director, Datu Haji Ubaidillah Abdul Latip.

This programme, in conjunction with SCORE’s 15th-anniversary celebrations, serves as a testament to the government’s commitment to fostering socio-economic development and progress in Sarawak through educational empowerment.
