Today, RECODA had the honour of hosting a courtesy visit from CIMB Securities, accompanied by representatives from Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan), Permodalan Nasional Berhad, KAF Equities, Principal Asset Management and Nomura Islamic Asset Management.
We shared insights into how RECODA, as Sarawak’s Statutory Body established under the Regional Corridors Development Authorities Ordinance 2006, oversees and manages the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) Development Plan. RECODA serves as the implementing agency for infrastructure projects and socio-economic programmes within the SCORE region.
Through the Samalaju Industrial Park (SIP) in Bintulu and the three Regional Development Agencies in SCORE, there are plenty of investment opportunities to be had, in industries varying from agriculture, aquaculture, tourism and industrial production of materials such as steel and ferroalloys, alluminium, oil and gas, petrochemicals and glass (metallic & Polysilicone industry).
