RECODA Supports Nyamai Sarawak Gastronomy Festival 2024, Malaysia Day Edition!

Our CEO, YBhg Datu Haji Ismawi bin Haji Ismuni, stated that our three Regional Development Agencies (RDAs)—encompassing the Upper Rajang, Highland, and Northern regions—as well as one of our Growth Nodes, Mukah, are rich in traditional heritage foods that can bring everyone together!

At this much-awaited event, scheduled for 13-15 September, RECODA will showcase our socio-economic development programmes which empower culinary entrepreneurs in these regions through upskilling initiatives that can potentially double their income through enhanced skills and opportunities, leading to unique and culturally inspired gastronomy-based products.

Today’s press conference, held at the Sarawak Cultural Village, was led by YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Binti Shukri, Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development, who is also the Member of Parliament for P193, Santubong.

Also in attendance were Khairina Dawek, RECODA’s Head of Private Investment & Socio-Economic Development, and Syeliza Basri, RECODA’s Head of Corporate Reputation.
