The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) was successfully completed at Daehan i.m Co., Ltd. in Seoul, Korea, as part of preparations for the Northern Coastal Highway (NCH) Project.

The FAT was attended by Datuk Haji Ismawi bin Haji Ismuni, CEO of RECODA, Ir. Ts Haji Mohammad Safri bin Haji Ibrahim, Director of Project Management, Mr Edward Matthew, Head of Project; together with the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and Main Contractor. All required inspections and tests were conducted in accordance with the approved project specifications, with independent testing also carried out at FITI Testing & Research Institute.

The results confirmed that the PVD meets the required standards, marking an important step in RECODA’s quality assurance efforts and ensuring the materials are suitable before reaching site. This early verification supports RECODA’s commitment to delivering quality, reliable and durable infrastructure for Sarawak.
