RECODA donates vaccine-related equipment to Limbang Division Health Office
In a yet another CSR programme, the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) through Northern Region Development Agency (NRDA) has donated vaccine-related equipment to the Limbang Division Health Office to assist in the vaccination roll-out to surrounding communities.
In a simple ceremony held on Friday, NRDA Regional Director Datu Ubaidillah Abdul Latip (far left) handed over the contribution to Limbang Division Health Officer Dr Norliza Jusoh at the Limbang Civic Centre, which was witnessed by Deputy Chief Minister and NRDA Chairman Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan (centre).
Also present to witness the ceremony were (second row, from left) Limbang Resident Ahmad Denney Ahmad Fauzi; Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Assistant Minister YB Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail and Batu Danau State Representative YB Paulus Palu Gumbang.
The equipment includes one top loading vaccine refrigerator, five cold boxes and ice packs, which will be used to assist health officers in expediting the vaccination process in the region.
This handover came on the heels of another similar CSR programme held a day earlier in Lawas where NRDA also donated equipment to Lawas District Health Office and Lawas District Council to facilitate in the vaccination programme.
NRDA is a development agency under RECODA, a statutory body that is tasked with implementing socio-economic and infrastructure development programmes in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE). RECODA is also tasked with promoting investment to the state as well as job creation.
