16 January 2018, KUCHING: The New Straits Times Press (NSTP) CEO, Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid paid a courtesy visit to RECODA’s new CEO, Datu Hj Ismawi Ismuni today at his office in LCDA tower in Kuching.

Datuk Abdul Jalil was accompanied by NSTP’s Editor in Chief, Datuk Yushaimi Yahya, NSTP’s Chief Commercial Officer Alfian Abu Talip and Media Prima’s Group General Manager Nicholas Sagau Tony Ngimat.

After a dialogue on the plans for Sarawak SCORE and the role of the media today, the delegation from NSTP and Media Prima presented Datu Ismawi with a copy of the Berita Harian 60th Anniversary book that charts the evolution of the country’s leading Bahasa Melayu newspaper from its launch in 1957 to the present day and the newspaper’s position at the forefront of the adoption of digital and technology to meet the needs and changing habits of readers.
