Bringing connectivity to Long Jeeh and Long Selawan, in Ulu Baram
A productive dialogue session was jointly held today by the Highland Development Agency (HDA) and the Land & Survey Department regarding crop and land compensation for local communities affected by a proposed 14km road project linking Kalei Road Junction to Long Jeeh and Long Selawan, in Ulu Baram.
Village representatives were pleased with the outcome of the dialogue, as connectivity will be brought on by the new road and two 49-metre bridges that will cross the nearby Sungai Kalei and Sungai Oten.
