Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation Senior Manager Lubau Genam paid a courtesy call on RECODA today, along with other officers from the state statutory body.
Lubau briefed RECODA CEO Datu Ismawi Ismuni and RECODA Project Management Division Director Mohammad Safri Ibrahim on the company’s history and its plan to diversify from its mainstay of shipyard and offshore works.
The company currently specialises in fabrication works on petrochemical and industrial plants as well as offshore oil & gas modules. It is also active in shipbuilding, ship repair and bridge construction.
Brooke Dockyard, established in 1912, is wholly owned by the Sarawak government, under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development.
