Final day of the NRDA cross-border study visit in Brunei! Joined by representatives from UNIMAS and Universiti Brunei Darussalam, we explored the Pusat Kesenian dan Pertukangan Tangan (Handicraft Centre) and met with Director Haji Zuffri to discuss how they are growing their handicraft industry and supporting the arts. Our participants also tried their hand at crafts like batik, silverwork, basket and fabric weaving, woodcarving, and songkok making.
We then visited PDS Abattoir Sdn Bhd, which is involved in processing fresh and processed meat for Brunei consumers, gaining valuable insights into their operations and potential collaborations. A key step in strengthening socio-economic efforts for Northern Sarawak!
