Continuously monitoring the impact of assistance provided to the participants in the Program Basmi Miskin Tegar (BMT) is essential to ensure they attain the benefits. Together with the Sarawak Economic Planning Unit (EPU Sarawak), RECODA’s Socio-Economic Development Unit recently conducted a Site Visit for Phase 1 of the BMT programme in Kampung Spaoh, Betong, and Kampung Bakong, Lingga, to evaluate project progress.
With the positive impact of assistance such as bakery needs, carpentry, and fishing from this programme, it enables them to cultivate their passion and make a living.
Aside from the site visit, a meeting was also held to discuss the progress and challenges encountered during Phase 1 of the BMT project, together with representatives from the Sri Aman Development Agency (SADA), Betong Division Development Agency (BDDA), UiTM Selangor Branch, and representatives from Betong, Lubok Antu, and Lingga District Offices
