We recently held an Engagement Session with Stakeholders for the Sarawak Border Project from Long Banga to Bario to Ba’Kelalan!

It was a productive engagement as we gathered valuable inputs and proposals from the participants. In attendance were Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) and Assemblymen for N78 Mulu YB Datuk Gerawat Gala, Member of Parliament for P222 Lawas YB Dato Henry Sum Agong, and Assemblymen for N81 Ba’Kelalan YB Baru Bian.

The proposed road will span approximately 133km, improving access in rural areas and reducing travel time for local residents. These border road projects are poised to open up new business and entrepreneurial opportunities from cross-border trade and tourism, especially with the development of the new Indonesian capital, Nusantara.
