Samalaju Job Fair 2014
Job Fairs bring a number of companies together under one roof to meet with and market themselves to a community. They also offer companies the chance to meet with staffing agencies, gather competitor information and raise the profile of the brand.
Job Fairs are also a great opportunity for job seekers to learn of new developments in the area, network, meet with potential employers and find out if those companies are the type of company that they might want to work for.
The Samalaju Job Fair is an initiative of the Human Resource Action Committee and Samalaju Industries. The main objective is to facilitate the promotion of Samalaju Industrial Park to job seekers and at the same time provides a valuable service to companies operating in Samalaju.
This year five companies – Press Metal Bintulu Sdn Bhd, Tokuyama Malaysia Sdn Bhd, OM Materials Sdn Bhd, Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd and Sakura Ferroallys Sdn Bhd participated in the event.
The turnout was excellent with a number of job opportunities identified for local residents.
