Dialogue with Orang Ulu
On 16th May 2015, Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Haji Adenan Satem visited Miri to attend a dialogue with the Orang Ulu. During the dialogue, the Orang Ulu community voiced their support for the construction of the Baram hydroelectric project.
Dialogues and continuous engagement with the local community are important to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
